The last post made me think of this one...another winner from my childhood.
Ingredients:
1 cup water
Raspberry Jello pkg.
2 cups applesauce
Directions:
Boil water. Dissolve Jell-O. Mix in 2 cups of applesauce. Refrigerate to set.

Welcome
These are the foods my family and I love. Not particularly healthy, complicated, or impressive. Just plain, old-fashioned goodness. Coming from a long line of Mennonite cooks (hey! that's one good thing I got out of my background, right??), I know a scrumpitous recipe when I see one. And because I'm not especially good at "winging it" in the kitchen (or elsewhere...but that's another matter), I decided to collect all our favorites into one handy spot. Maybe I'm a bad cook, not being able to cook from scratch and all, but if I follow these recipes, it's sure to be a hit! Happy browsing!
